When, all of a sudden, your social and economic life comes to an almost complete standstill, you wonder what is wrong. There is a pandemic alright, but that answer does not satisfy me.
A pandemic like this does not happen very often, and certainly not on such a global scale. As a Christian, I know that major events on earth are revealed by God to His servants the prophets. (See Amos 3:7: Surely the Lord GOD does nothing, unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets.)
Could it be that way now? In the New Testament, Matthew lets us know that the Lord Jesus prophesied that at the end of the age there will be tough times, and that these will happen in phases. First there will be labor pains, followed by the delivery. So, initially, there will be relatively light disasters – God’s way of warning mankind to repent.
If people don’t repent, there will be a time of great tribulation. You can read about it in this book. But I will start off by giving you an evaluation of the present time……..
